Our fees
Funeral Directors’ fees for our professional attention throughout all necessary arrangements, including provision of a coffin for either burial or cremation with suitable gown or lining, conveyance of the deceased from a local address or hospital to the Chapel of Rest, preparation and care of the deceased for viewing in the Chapel of Rest, provision of a hearse and bearers attending the funeral to a local cemetery or crematorium.

Newspaper Announcements
The cost of newspaper announcements is dependent on the number of lines and length of the announcement. £125.00 - £200.00
Flowers, catering, orders of service, webcasting, ashes casket/containers and monumental work are other items you may want to consider.
Cremation
Direct Cremation: local removal of the deceased, administration, a simple coffin, transportation to a crematorium of our choice and a day and time of our choosing, all necessary staff, cremation fees and medical cremation certificate fees if applicable. £1495
Burial
Grave purchase: purchase of new grave space (Darwen Cemetery or Pleasington Cemetery & Crematorium) including the right to erect a memorial £1300.00

Terms of Business
We require a deposit of 50% of the total amount estimated for your funeral requirements. The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of the funeral taking place, and the balance must be paid to us within 28 days of the date of the final account. We do not charge interest. We do not charge for late payment of sums when there is an agreement to pay by instalments within a 12-month period. If there is no agreement to pay by instalments, we reserve the right to pass an outstanding account to a third party debt collection agency with associated costs.
